Climbing Vines

Climbing Vines

I clap my hands with a sigh,
Once again, I look up,
The height is terrifying.
Where is it I am going again?
Eyes closed tight.
Oh yes, Up.
Why again?
There is a reward there.
Just at the top.
Newly bound
Within the green leaves.
So many things you seek.
One hand first.
It will be all right.
Up the vines.
Climbing heights.
Frightened and with sighs.
Alone, no net, and no reply.
